What To Do if A Player is Injured

Little League insurance is a secondary type insurance which becomes primary if the player/family has no other insurance coverage.
Any injury sustained while participating in a Big League activity should be reported to the District Staff by contacting linda@northptc.com  and an  Accident Claim Form should be completed immediately.  Fill out side one; both parents must sign the form at the bottom if the injured player lives at home with his/her parents.   Send that form to the District Administrator, Linda North within the first few days of the accident.  Claim forms submitted later than 20 days after an accident may not be covered by Little League insurance.

Click here for Accident Claim Form Instrucrtions.  The Claim Form Instructions contain valuable information regarding coverage.

Click here for What Parents Should Know About Little League Accident Insurance.  Again, this contains valuable information regarding coverage.

Be advised that once the claim is submitted to Little League's Insurance Claims Department, all correspondence is between the claimant and the insurance company - District 4 is no longer involved.  This is a result of the HIPPA privacy laws.
